In a unexpected crossover event that breaks traditional predictions, Ubisoft has announced an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Revealed

According to the formal statement, "An unusual meeting pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where whispers of forbidden practices and monstrous transformations resonate through the obscurity." The storyline presents a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a secret sect.

The mission focuses on "bizarre trials and a terrifying enemy" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Transformations

The teaser showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer ends with a dramatic sequence showing a character, probably the captive, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the mission will obtain an special katana in addition to multiple items concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
